4 MODES OF OPERATION
Change Between Modes by Pressing Mode Button
Select the correct mode with the mode button on the front of the thermometer. You can see the selected mode from the icons on the LCD screen:
- Adult forehead mode
- Child forehead mode
- Ear mode
- Object mode
Probe Must Have Direct Line-of-Sight to the Ear Drum
Remove the back magnetic cover to display the ear probe. Unless it has a direct line-of-sight to the ear drum, only the inner canal temperature will be measured. Follow the figure on the left to have a direct line-of-sight to the ear drum.
